2025 Green Township Acknowledgment

The Green Township Board acknowledged and presented certicate of appreciation to the following individuals for Manning Hill projects. The Planning Commission and Township Board agreed to in 2014 to assist in keeping Manning Hill Park cleaned up and managed. Members on both boards (Board of Trustees and Planning Commission) work with the community to beautify the Manning Hill Park. Manning Hill Park is a Roadside Park that has been an attribute to Green Township for several decades and will continue to be with citizen pride and assistance in making it a place to be proud to call home.

Thank you on behalf of the Green Township residents and visitors to our area and its landmark MANNING HILL PARK. Persons honored at the October 13, 2025 Board meeting are as follows:

Dan Manning for his contributions to the Manning Hill Park in restoring water and power along with many other things such as cleanup and new signage.
Curt Gonyea for his contribution of using several pieces of equipment and days of labor to cleaning up the Manning Hill Park after the huge ice storm.
Mike Manning for his contributions to the Manning Hill Park in purchasing materials and labor for new signage. Mike also accepted a certificate on behalf of Tom Manning for his contributions to the Manning Hill Park in new signage.
Richard Oliver for his contribution of using his york rake to clean up the Manning Hill Park after the huge ice storm and for faithfully snowplowing the Park every winter.
Netta’s Nursery was honored also as a contributor of beautiful geraniums for the Manning Hill Park.
