The Planning Commission and Township Board agreed to in 2014 to assist in keeping Manning Hill Park cleaned up and managed. Members on both boards (Board of Trustees and Planning Commission) work with the community to beautify the Manning Hill Park.
The Manning Hill Roadside Park adjoins private property which has been used for sledding in the winter. A BIG thank you to all those who showed their love and respect for a project that says to the Alpena Area and people traveling through that they are welcome!
